Hidden Mountain Observatory is dedicated to expanding public awareness of the universe and to furthering an appreciation of astronomy and space science education for families and groups with children as well as adults with programs for all ages.
Do you love stories and educational insight into the heavens above? At Hidden Mountain Observatory, participants can discover more about the heaven's above with a sixty to ninety minute tour of the night sky. Amaze your friends and family with some of the darkest skies and brightest stars east of the Mississippi River!
Views through even larger telescopes can often appear to be only dim views of the Universe. However, in private programs for parties and tour groups, the observatory uses state of the art EAA, or electronically assisted astronomy in combination with sofisticated displays to reveal the striking wonders of the cosmos in breathtaking brightness and clarity.
In late spring into early fall, you'll see the Milky stretched out across the sky and enjoy thrilling views of star clusters, galaxies and nebulae, year-round! Dates are first come, first served so book your night out under the stars today and get set for an unforgettable experience you'll treasure for a lifetime!

Parties operate nightly, weather permitting, and generally last two to three hours. Prices are based on the number in your group, but we are limited to a minimum of four (4) to a maximum of sixteen (16) participants due to space limitations at the venue. View pricing details.
